Mr. Faizan Ghori recently joined Matco Group as the Director Finance in September 2006.

Mr. Faizan Ghori’s most recent engagement was with Bank of America in London, were he worked as an Analyst within the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Division. Covering the European Energy & Power Sector, he worked on numerous mandates advising clients such as Goldman Sachs (Principal Investments), Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts (KKR), Reliance Industries Limited, E.ON AG, EnBW AG, ConocoPhillips, BC Partners, and Centrica Plc.

He has also worked at Citigroup (Karachi) and Jahangir Siddiqui Capital Markets during internships. At Jahangir Siddiqui, he devised and developed Pakistan’s first Government Bond Index (JS PGBI), which has become a market benchmark for bond price and rate movements.

Mr. Faizan Ghori is a graduate of St.Michael’s Convent School and Karachi Grammar School.

He graduated with honours (Cum Laude) from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, completing his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance and Accounting.

Mr. Faizan Ghori has also completed his master of Science degree in Finance and Accounting with honours (Merit) from The London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

His professional qualifications include the Regulations, Securities and Financial Derivatives (SFD) certification and membership from the UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA).
